Project summary:

The following extracts have been taken from a CD produced as a result of a research project, (Manufacturing Meaning Along the Food Commodity Chain), funded under the Economic and Social Research Council and Arts and Humanities Research Council’s Cultures of Consumption Programme.

Food Stories is an educational website hosted by the British Library aimed at school and university students and anyone with an interest in food. The project is a collaboration between the Universities of Sheffield and Newcastle, the British Library’s National Life Stories and the British Library Learning department, and is hosted on the British Library Learning website, a link to which you will find below.
