- As a member you receive Oral History in spring and autumn.
- You will have access to regional contacts across the country through the Society's database, and be able to join a local group in your area.
- You will be mailed with advance details of Society conferences, meetings and international conferences: all at preferential rates.
- You will be able to call on the Society's specialists for advice on everything from oral history in schools, libraries and museums, to how to start a reminiscence group and what books to read about oral history.
- You will have advance details of the Society's publications at reduced rates. These include: Oral History: Talking about the Past by Rob Perks; Talking in Class: Oral History and the National Curriculum by Allan Redfern; Copyright, Ethics and Oral History by Alan Ward; Remembering in Groups: Ideas from Reminiscence and Literacy Work by Jane Lawrence and Jane Mace.
