Finding Queer South Asian Voices in the Archive. A British Library online event

This is a free online event on ‘Finding Queer South Asian Voices in the Archive’ on Monday 18th July from 18:30 – 19:45. The event will explore some of the issues in using public archives to explore these hidden histories, but also how activists, archives and academics are carrying out research to address these absences. This event is part of the Unlocking Our Sound Heritage project. Speakers include Dr Churnjeet Mahn whose research focuses on queer migration, Kuljit Singh from the Open Minds Project, along with Hafsa Qureshi, 2019 Stonewall Bi Role Model of the Year. To book:
